Alma 29:9

I know that which the Lord hath commanded me, and I glory in it. I do not glory of myself, but I glory in that which the Lord hath commanded me; yea, and this is my glory, that perhaps I may be an instrument in the hands of God to bring some soul to repentance; and this is my joy.

Oh, how I love you conference!

Hey fam-
Okay, I don´t know if ya'll noticed, but General Conference was really really awesome this year. I don´t know if it was just the crazy missionary spiritual high thing, but it was so inspiring and instructive. For one reason or another, my companion and I ended up watching One of the sessions with our mission President. He mentioned how all of the talks were focused on enduring to the end, and that something big is in store for us and that we really need to fortify our testimonies and our faith if we are going to be tough enough to handle what the world is preparing to dish out to us. I don't know why, but when Elder Oaks was talking, I just thought of Dale. It was awesome. I especially loved the talk by the Australian Dude in the Sunday evening session. By way of tender mercy, I watched almost all of conference in English so that I could understand. What a blessing.

I am so pleased to hear that the FFA auction was so wonderful. Congrats on the quilt mom. You're a rockstar. And No, I don't get to go to the temple while I am here because it is not finished yet here and Lima is too far away. So I will have to go to the temple a whole bunch of times when I get back. I am further grateful to hear that everything went well for Sarah and that shes healing up again. I loved the pics of Jadyn and McKay and Bridger. Bridger is a chunk, but sure is cute.

Oh and my vote is for that pic of Ben for senior pic. it is perfect. Oh and Benny

- Thanks for the email- Seriously, it totally made my day. Maybe next time, you could send me a pic that is more up to date?

Well the work of the Lord is moving forward. We have one lady on date this week to be baptized. Her name is Yolanda. She is just the greatest. We are so happy for her. She has got the greatest testimony of the Gospel. Angels have been working with us to help her accept the Gospel. Those angels are her children. They call her daily to encourage her to prepare for her baptism. Cant wait to email you a pic of her next week after her baptism.

We have had some other really great miracles. One lady named Inez that we contacted in the street is really one of our favorite people in the whole world. It was very late when we contacted her and she easily gave us her address. The next day we stopped by her house and she asked what took us so long. I checked my watch. and thought, no- we are on time. She then told us that one of the guys that she works with has been telling her for a few weeks that he wants to send the missionaries to her house to talk about the Gospel. But he never did. When we contacted her in the street she was very excited to finally have contact with the missionaries. When we got to her house, She called her kids inside from playing and had them sit around us and listen to the Gospel. We taught them about how to pray as a family and it was so tender when the mom was so excited to pray as a family. We are looking forward to visiting her more. The dad just left the family and Inez is trying very hard to keep her kids away from the things of the world.

I love you all and Mom- you are the best card writer in the whole world. Thanks for keeping me up to date.

Love you all
chow
