Alma 29:9

I know that which the Lord hath commanded me, and I glory in it. I do not glory of myself, but I glory in that which the Lord hath commanded me; yea, and this is my glory, that perhaps I may be an instrument in the hands of God to bring some soul to repentance; and this is my joy.

One More Day

La Mejor Familia en Todo el Mundo-
Todos de ustedes- les amo. I heard from a whole bunch of you today and it was a really wonderful blessing. The coolest part by far was the pics of the Hills and their fantastic Halloween costumes. Seriously though, I am pretty sure that Christian IS Harry Potter in the flesh. Congrats on the beets. 56 Tons!? that is super awesome. I am so happy for that. Fog, that stinks about the sweet corn, but as my very wise farmer father always says, "there´s always next year". Carter sure looks cute and the shirt was priceless. I am not surprised in the least that he´s an oldies fan. Congrats to Tom for getting accepted to BYU-I. Tell him that he needs to live in Bunkhouse. That is where all the cool guys live.-just sayin.... I am super jazzed about Kelsey getting ready to leave on a mission. Good for her, she is in for the time of her life. Enjoy every bite of that whipped honey.

The greatest miracle of this week is that the menos activo family that we have been working with (we have gone by their house about twice a week or more teaching them for two transfers) finally all came to church. It was incredible. at times one of them would come with us, or the dad would come for one week, but never the whole family. I will attach a picture of them and us at the church. This family means so much to Hermana Martinez and I . To see them all there at church was truly wonderful. Now we just have to get them to keep going- and not just for us, because they want to. This is the familia Perez if you remember. We love them to peices (the other day they busted out some ice cream, and it was exactly like what I felt at home. Ice cream with some really wonderful spiritual thoughts. Love it.

Ines is having some really tough challenges financially, emotionally, spiritually, and she has got so much desire to come to church. The problem is her work. The other day we talked about going to church and the blessings that she could have. The Spirit was super duper strong and through the Spirit, I promised her that if she came to church that the Lord would take care of her financial situation, but that she would have to show her faith in God to come to Church. I invited her to kneel down with us together to ask the Lord what she needed to do to be able to be obedient to the command to keep the Sabbath day holy (and come to church). The spirit was super strong, but this Sunday will show her desires.

Hermana Marler (the mission president´s wife) invited my companion and I over to their house last week to enjoy some good old American food for This Sunday. We came and had some really tasty food. Corn on the cob and SALAD! (we pretty much cant eat salads because it is really unsafe, but Hna Marler knows where to get the safe food) and Cinnamon

Rolls. It was while I was there that she talked to me about the email conversation that she had with Mom and Dad about Sarah. I was pretty shocked but immediately, the Spirit touched my heart and calmed my mind.

I know that the Lord will take care of my wonderful sister and the rest of my family while I am away. I don´t have a doubt in the world that The Lord will take good care of us. I am a representative of the Lord Jesus Christ and as that representative I can promise that this family will see miracles through our faithful obedience to the commandments. They may not be in the way we expect, but that daily, the Blessings of the Lord will be with us all. I will be fasting with the rest of you guys this Sunday, and my mission president and his wife also told me that they will be with us as well for this fast.

I love you all-
Hermana Christensen
