Alma 29:9

I know that which the Lord hath commanded me, and I glory in it. I do not glory of myself, but I glory in that which the Lord hath commanded me; yea, and this is my glory, that perhaps I may be an instrument in the hands of God to bring some soul to repentance; and this is my joy.

Sick Again

Beloved Familia-
It sounds like things are sure beautifully normal up there. How wonderful. Beet harvest sounds like it is going great as usual. That bites about the new regulation, but, I am happy to hear that all the junker trucks are functioning together for the common good of the farmers in the area. I'm glad that everyone is enjoying their callings and such. Harry- have a fantastic time at nationals and be sure to take some great pics to send me from Keenland and the other racetracks! Oh and Terry- nice one for your tackle

Gosh I love you guys. I find so much strength when I am in lessons and a story comes into my head from when I was growing up. For example, we have a family who is less active that we are working with and they want to get back into the church and to have family prayer and scripture study. I was sharing my testimony to them about how important family prayer was for me and that I could count on having family prayer every single night without fail. We had a family home evening with them about how they could strengthen their family and first on the list was praying together as a family. I didn´t quite realize how much I loved family prayer until I was just stuck with a companion. Thanks mom and dad for all those family prayers. It made a difference in my life and I can share my testimony with power to the people here because I have experience with it.

We didn´t get a whole lot of time to visit with Yolanda and Ines this week. :(. But we have appointments with them today and tomorrow that we are really excited about. We are also teaching a new family. Alejandro and his wife Amparito and their daughter Gimena. They are so great and I just love them to pieces. Amparito came with us to church yesterday. At the end of Gospel Doctrine we were talking to the teacher for a second and when we turned around Amparito was gone. We freaked out for a moment and ran around the church trying to find her. She wasn´t in the relief Society room where they normally gather, so we were looking for both the Relief society and our lost investigator. We eventually found them both. One of the hermanas in the ward noticed that we brought an investigator to church and grabbed her at the first opportunity she could find and brought her to relief Society. They were chatting when we found them and sat back comfy knowing that our ward is the BEST! WOOO HOOO!

Mom a matter of fact, I am a giant. I'm at least a head above my companion. I met a little lady the other day who barely came up to my waist. The men are usually about my height or a tiny bit shorter. It is the most annoying thing in the entire world to ride on the buses because my knees are crushed into the seat in front of me. My companion is just comfortably sat, but I am like all crunched up on the bus. (I say bus, but they are actually just vans that drive around. They are called "combis") (I really want to start one of those up in Rexburg for the students there. They rock!)

I got sick again this week, but it was for a lot shorter of time. Fweeew. Hopefully, I won´t get sick again any time soon. I love you all so much and thanks for all the love and support.

Love, Hermana Christensen
Mom- I got a package! Thank you so much for the scarf! It is perfect and everyone comments on how great it looks on me. I also got a card from Sister Kallmeyer. No, I did not get a chance to meet Elder Cook. :( . And also a card from Aunt Ann and Uncle Armond. They sure are faithful at writing to me. THANK YOU
