Alma 29:9

I know that which the Lord hath commanded me, and I glory in it. I do not glory of myself, but I glory in that which the Lord hath commanded me; yea, and this is my glory, that perhaps I may be an instrument in the hands of God to bring some soul to repentance; and this is my joy.

Feliz Navidad

Feliz Navidad a todos!
I got the greatest box of goodies from Hermana Hogland and from Aunt Holly. Thank you both so so much. It is like being at home when I munch on a homemade caramel, Thanks so so much for your lovely gifts. I really feel special.

Wowwwee. I am so darn excited to be able to talk to you guys in like 2 days!!  That is so legit! And via skype too! Hopefully we dont encounter technical difficulties.......I think I have everything that I need. (I hope I hope I hope). I think it will be closer to 2 or 3 when I call from here, but I really cant tell for sure because we have to work with the schedual of our members.

We had the coolest christmas concert in the Plaza de Armas this week. We have got some really talented missionaries in our mission. There were some solos that were just so so beautiful One elder sang Oh Holy Night, and the crowd was practically in tears it was so beautiful. The entire mission was there. yeah all 240 of us. The poor president and his wife were so preoccupied with all of the missionaries who had to go home after the concert. But everything worked out and everyone lived.

We will be spending christmas with our Zone. Well watch a Church Christmas movie and eat together in one of our pensionistas houses. Pretty Rad right?

You guys are in for a surprise- I cut my hair. I asked for the ends only and the lady went to town. I have got a fro right now,. Okay, so its not that bad, but it is a whole lot shorter. You will all love to see it on Christmas. It actually isnt too bad. In fact, I kind of Like it, especially for the summer.

It is so special being a missionary right now for Christmas. We always have an opening line. " ¿Que van a hacer para la Navidad con su familia?" and wham they launch into everything. After we chat for a while we bring up Christ and we bear testimony of the divinity of Jesus Christs calling as our Savior. It is the best. I love talking to people about Jesus and bearing my testimony al the time. This is the strangest christmas I have ever had, but I wont trade it for anything in the whole world. To be preaching about Christ and to share what I hold very dear is the greatest blessing that I can have right now in my life. I love my Savior. I know that he was called of the father to be born as a baby, to grow and be our example, and then to suffer, die and be resurrected for the benefit of all mankind. I know that He lives, and that this is His true church.

I love you all and Merry Christmas
