Alma 29:9

I know that which the Lord hath commanded me, and I glory in it. I do not glory of myself, but I glory in that which the Lord hath commanded me; yea, and this is my glory, that perhaps I may be an instrument in the hands of God to bring some soul to repentance; and this is my joy.

12.22.13

Hey Fam-

I am sending all sorts of love and prayers up to Buggy and the fam. Hopefully Hyrum is being a good little boy so that Grandma can play mommy for a minute while Sarah heals up a little more. I got the lovliest emails from Kym and Claire. Kym I love your persepective on just about everything. And congrats on finishing potty trainning Mckay. That is a real triumph. I just want to play with Jadyn so much! What a Cutie. Claire thanks for finally emailing me hahahaha. Hopefully you communicate a little more with James than with me. JK. Youre the greatest, oh and a late christmas present will be just dandy. Ill take it in whatever form it comes

Well this is the most surprising thing that has happened this week. It turns out that I am not getting transfered afterall. Hermana Martinez and I will be staying together here in Rinconada for another transfer. That will mean that we have almost 6 months of our mission together. Thats nuts. But obviously someone needs us here and that we still have things to learn. But seriously this is nuts. A third of our mission will be spent together, in the same area. We were super surprised, but this is the Lords time and we will work with the Lord in His work of Salvation.

There has been a huge push in Rescuing Souls and that a less active who is coming to church again is just as important as a baptism. We have a new key indicator called Almas TraĆdo a la luz. (souls brought to the Light). These people have to come to church for at least 2 weeks in a row, hear all of the missionary discussions (as well as ALL the commandments and all about temples, family history, missonary work, priesthood etc..) and have an interview with the Bishop. We finally (after about 2 months of working) had 2 this week. They{re sisters named Karina and Romy. We have had the hardest time getting them to come to church two weeks in a row. One would come this week and another in two weeks. but finally success! We just think the world of these girls and love them so much.

I don{t have a ton of time right now, but I love being a missionary
 LOVE YOU ALL

Hermana Christensen

PS Guess what?! we can use Skype! woot woot. I forgot my username and password though.... I think I can get it pretty easy or make a new one. But the thing is that if I do need to make a new one I need to have your username so that i can call. We will be able to call after 12 PM here on Christmas. So That is  whats up with that. No promises exactly when we will call, but the point is- if you hear the skype sound on Christmas in the afternoon- Dont ignore it :)
