Alma 29:9

I know that which the Lord hath commanded me, and I glory in it. I do not glory of myself, but I glory in that which the Lord hath commanded me; yea, and this is my glory, that perhaps I may be an instrument in the hands of God to bring some soul to repentance; and this is my joy.

Querida familia
Happy birthday Dad! I am so glad that that letter made it up there in time. That was only about 2 weeks. what a blessing. Sorry that the calving season is kinda stinky this year. What a pain. But hopefully things will start moving along a little bit more normally. I sure am proud of dad for his talk on sunday. I am sure that Bishop Christensen was sure pleased. And thanks so much dad for your words of wisdom. I can promise you that they were not wasted. Mom, I think that you are aging the wrong direction.ahhhahaha. just keep it up. I know that youre making a difference in a lot of little lives.
This has been one of the best weeks that I have had on the mission. it started out when one of the members in our ward announced to us that she was going to come with us for the afternoon to get to know some of her friends. Obviously we agreed, but whaat we didnt expect was what followed. We got 15 referrals from her that afternoon. But it didnt end there. we ended up getting 24 referrals for the rest of the week. That is nuts. We were kept so sosososo busy this week with all of the referrals that we got. All of the new investigators that we got were from  referrals and many are going to progress super well I can tell. Hermana watkins and I worked our pants off this week and it was pretty clear to see the fruits of the week. I really love being a missionary and seeing prepared people and prepared members who are truly converted to the Gospel. Also this week 2 missionaries came back from serving their missions in our ward, and let me tell you they are spectacular. Just about every day they are calling us with referrals, or updates on  menos activos or just to see if they can help us. One is pretty funny and refuses to go anywhere wihtout his backpack.I am pretty sure that I will be the same

One of our new investigators name is Vanessa. she is 16 and SSSOOO prepared to accept the Gospel. The first day we met her we asked her to pray, and the next day we asked how it went and she said that she felt soo good and wants to know more. She read all of the pamphlet that we gave and recited the entire restoration story from memory. We invited her to a baptism for another ward and she came and loved it. She also came to church and loved it. At church she told us that she started reading the Book of Mormon and that she wants to be baptized. She already told her mom and she said yes so all we need now is written permission. It really has been one of the coolest experiences of my mission.

We are also working with an hermana named Cecilia. She is catholic, but we have been teaching her for a while about the church. I showed her a picture of President Monson yesterday and she said. I know that this man is the Prophet, but why dont other people know? I couldnt belive my ears. She waas pretty doubtful the entire time, but recentlly she has really been coming along well. She's about 24 and is getting married soon.

I love you all so much. Thanks for all the love and support. I seriously feel it and am so grateful. I got a package from Hermana Delores and a fabulous card from Vaughn and Alyse. Thank you all.
