Alma 29:9

I know that which the Lord hath commanded me, and I glory in it. I do not glory of myself, but I glory in that which the Lord hath commanded me; yea, and this is my glory, that perhaps I may be an instrument in the hands of God to bring some soul to repentance; and this is my joy.

I love those beautiful pictures. Thank you so much for the pictures. I really love getting them and seeing how everyone is doing. It is 100 percent different seeing everyone vs hearing from them. I am so happy to hear about Ben heading out to the Prom with Emily that should be really fun. I am so proud of all you guys. Jonathan and Sarah's family sure are cute, and is that a redhead that I see on Hyrum?! That sure is fun. They all look sooo good. I want some pics of mom! I was really sad to hear about the calf with the broken leg. That sure is a downer :(. I'm sure that dad and Matt are taking real good care of it.

Dad, you sure sound busy. I have been praying a lot for you guys because It sounds like there is a whole lot to do right now and not enough time to do everything. I am so proud to be from a hard working family. I think that you guys are just the coolest.

I did a really interesting service project the other day. There is an hermanita in our ward who has stage 3 cancer and is going through chemotherapy. She is alone for a lot of the day. One day when we went over I noticed that she had nail polish on, but that it was chipped and fading. So I asked If I could come over in a couple of days to repaint her nails and her face lit up and said yes. A few days later we came back to paint her nails. When I finished she just went on and on about how beautiful she felt and that when she is doing her chemo her hand is up on a stand with the medicine going through and that the doctors always comment on her fingernails if they are painted or not, and that this time they were really going to complement her. It was so cute, but at that moment, that meant the whole world to this woman. I was touched. I know the picture doesn't look like she's happy, but she so was. Latinos just don't like smiling for pictures.

We have been working a lot with some Less active families. By some miracle, we managed to bring 8 menos activos to the church. That really was a miracle one of them hadn't gone to church for about 4 years. I think it was because this Sunday was special, because it was Easter, but still, it was good to have them in church and feeling the spirit. Hopefully we can keep this up. The branch that we are in is trying to become a ward. They are actually really close, they lack some strong priesthood holders and full tithe payers. There are tons of really strong sisters in the ward we just have to help the hermanos get their testimonies stronger.

The thing I read in Preach my Gospel that I really loved this week was this quote. "To help people get faith in Jesus Christ unto Repentance is Teaching and testifying of the Restored Gospel." To help people repent it becomes really important that they know about the restoration. Pretty cool right? (PG 6)

For Easter, me and my companion -the Wonderful Hermana Grow- made deviled eggs (I really don't know how to spell that.... oh well) It turned out sooooo good. We wanted to have an egg hunt, but we were satisfied with what we had. hahaha. Everything is going really well, and I am happy. I know that My Redeemer Lives. I am so grateful for the Atonement and the Restoration of the Gospel, and to be a representative of Jesus Christ.
Love you All
Hermana Christensen

PS I wouldn't mind if Dan and Claire were to inform me on how their lives are doing.....(hint hint). If it is at all possible, I would love a new blouse or shirt or something new. I am pretty much the same size as when I left. I would also love some laffy taffys.
THANKS MOMMA!
