Alma 29:9

I know that which the Lord hath commanded me, and I glory in it. I do not glory of myself, but I glory in that which the Lord hath commanded me; yea, and this is my glory, that perhaps I may be an instrument in the hands of God to bring some soul to repentance; and this is my joy.

I dont know if ya'll watched some of general conference this weekend, but I definately feel spiritually fed. I LOVED it so much. Without a doubt my favorite talk was the one by Elder Uchtdorf on Sunday morning. It was so stellar. I just love General Conference so much! I have a lot to work on to become more christlike, but there are some really cool things that are happening right now in the church and I am so grateful and humbled to be a member of the Church. I know that the Prophet is an inspired man that truly recieves revelation from God. I know the church is true, and that Joseph Smith restored the church to the earth once more for these latter days. The work is moving forward. What an amazing blessing.
I was pretty impressed that mom and dad were brave enough to do the horse-thing again. I admit to being excited to playing with that little pony when I get home. It looks really cute. Mom, where are all the pics of you? I loved the letter that I got this week from Ben, even if it was just a little one. It totally made my day. Thanks for being such a good letter-writer mom. I just love it.
This week we had a wonderful little miracle. We have been working with a cute little family. La familia Espinoza. We have taught the mom and two of her kids who are baptizing age. (the younger one was there, but wasnt overly interested in learning, so she mostly just ran around the house or up and down the stairs. she is so cute!) WE hadn't ever met the dad because he only comes home on the weekends and we hadn't had the chance to meet him the 3 weeks that we had been working with the family. The mom agreed to come with us to General Conference and so on Sunday morning we headed over there to pick them up to go over to the stake center together. When we got to the house, we found the dad sat on the couch watching the news. Like the missionaries that we are, we introduced ourselves and got him talking. After a little while, the mom came down and said that she and her kids were ready to go. We told the dad that he should come with us to listen to the Prophet of God. To that  he nodded and changed his shirt and came with us. He had a billion questions about prophets, but was completely willing to learn more. We sat the entire family with our branch president and his family, while we went to another room to watch in English. When we met back up with them after the meeting we they were just busting with how much they learned. it was so COOL! But they aren't married. We will be getting on that one pronto!
I hope that you guys have looked at the blog lately. On it is the familia Fiestas. I worked with that family ALL the time that I was in Rinconada. The mom and dad didn't want the son to get baptized because they were menos activo, but they went from that to getting the dad ready to baptize his son. When I saw that on the blog I cried because of how happy I was for this family and how much I love them. They are the ones with the whole armor of God.
Things are going well and I am just living the Dream. I love you all.
Love Hermana Christensen
